Are you an Architectural Specification Advisor?
Are you based in the Midlands (ideally) and able to complete occasional travel to Bristol Head Office as and when the business requires?
If so, then this could be the role for you!
We are currently recruiting for a company who specialises in fire protection solutions, innovative plasterboard products and systems. They are looking for an Architectural Specification Advisor to cover Nationally (Ideally Southeast but the patch is up for negotiation.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships remotely with key accounts.
- To work closely with the project tracking team to identify and convert project opportunities in line with the (Star, Grow, Maintain and Low Priority) identification process, clarifying level of technical support required and assigning to either themselves or an external ASM as required.
- Use of One CRM to communicate activity to the wider business in line with the Company policy.
- Update daily the companies CRM tool with Comms calls, Agenda, tasks.
- Meet objectives as defined by Line Manager as part of annual review process and goal setting.
- Build professional relationships with all other departments.
- To provide project specification support for key accounts predominantly focused on identified and classified framework partners (Star and Grow accounts), and key sub-contractors (Maintain).
- Always promote a positive image of the business in the marketplace and act as a “Role Model” to colleagues and customers.
- Work with Partners to ensure their projects come out perfectly.
Key Skills:
- It would be advantageous if you have experience of Design & Build, Traditional, Procure 21, CLAW, partnering agreements, and envelope schemes.
- You will be able to demonstrate experience of being able to create bespoke ‘engineered’ solutions for specific customer construction projects with a high level of technical competence.
- Ideally you will have experience of architectural practices and procedures, including the ability to interpret architectural drawings and plans.
- You will be IT Literate –understands construction design software, e.g., CAD / BIM; able to use Microsoft Office packages, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- You will be a creative thinker and demonstrate spatial awareness.
- You will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Qualifications and Training:
- Maths, English and a Science and /or design and technology GCSE minimum grade C or equivalent
- Up to date understanding of building regulations (preferably parts B, E and L) and other sector relevant building standards.
- Desirable: Higher Education qualification in an Engineering/Architectural or Business Subject
