Area Merchant Manager – Insulation & Drylining & Ceilings – South / Southeast – SD11981

Are you experienced in selling to national and independent merchants?
Are you open to a couple of nights away from home each week?

If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

We’re recruiting for a global manufacturer of drywall and plasterboard products. As a key supplier on thousands of construction projects worldwide, their products help make homes, schools, hospitals, and workplaces warmer, drier, quieter, and safer.

They’re now looking for an Area Merchant Manager to cover the South / Southeast region.

Package Includes:

Key Responsibilities:

• Support product promotions with key national accounts
• Review and deliver business plans
• Build strong relationships across the merchant branch network
• Work with the management team to support national account strategy
• Attend exhibitions and conferences
• Maintain accurate daily CRM updates (agendas, outcomes, leads, complaints, etc.)
• Conduct regular calls and virtual meetings
• Analyse sales data and address underperformance
• Conduct stock profiling and identify upsell opportunities
• Coordinate and support customer training

What You’ll Need:

• Proven internal/external sales experience
• Strong phone presence and ability to meet daily call targets
• Confident influencer with persuasive communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
• Team player with strong time management and adaptability
