Our client is a leading European brand specialising in sustainable plaster, render, and external wall insulation for the construction industry. With a presence in over 30 countries and a turnover of €2.6 billion, they are looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover Wales and South West.
What you’ll do
- Proactively sell products to applicators, while driving back-sales through both new and existing merchants.
- Agree targets and set objectives for each account with your defined area and obtain agreement to the proposed area plan. Amend in the light of changes to regional, national and market strategy.
- Arrange training for all branch staff as necessary to ensure knowledge of the sales benefits and technical advantages of all products.
- Ensure comprehensive records are kept and maintained via CRM systems and laptop computers of all current and potential contracts/specifications in accordance with company guidelines.
Knowledge & Experience
- A demonstrated background working in the building materials sector.
- Good presentation skills
- strong commercial orientation, able to demonstrate a commercially based offer.
- strong customer orientation; used to dealing with customers and building close relationships
