Are you an Area Specification Sales Manager looking for your next move?

We’re currently recruiting for a manufacturer of daylight and ventilation solutions for industrial, commercial and public buildings. They’re looking for an Area Specification Sales Manager to cover the North of England.

Overall purpose of the role

To be responsible for the management of influencers, key decision makers and specification within their geographical area of operation.

The role requires a team player who is an ambitious, persistent, energetic, creative solutions provider and be a committed individual who will be able to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Principal Responsibilities

• Maximise sales probability via strong focus on securing specification & demand creation.

• Maintain CRM records for Area contacts and projects.
• Develop and implement strong closing techniques to secure specification by influencing Specifiers and Architects.
• Cover the buying center with robust stakeholder engagement
• Monitor market potential and share sales leads with relevant colleagues.
• Carry out any other tasks as may be reasonably requested in relation to your role.
• Occasional overnight travel (approximately 4-5 nights per month may be required)
• Working at heights will be required. (we will provide the training)

Person Specification

Essential

• Strong technical and commercial background
• Direct experience of project sales
• Managing sales process end to end
• Ability to develop professional working relationships at all levels

Desirable

• Experience of using a CRM system
• Experience reading architectural/construction drawings and plans
• Knowledge of current building regulations
• Experience in roof construction, facades, glazing
