    Our clients specialise in Brickwork Ancillaries, Structural Waterproofing, Formwork Accessories, Construction Accessories, Fixings and Construction Chemicals. 

    They are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Branch Manager to help increase the sales of their products within Bristol and the Southwest and further generate demand for their products through existing customers.

    Your route to market will be National Housebuilders and contractors.

    Responsibilities:

    • Target groundwork and brickwork contractors working for Tier 1 main contractors and National House Builders.
    • Support External Sales team in generating pipeline.
    • Manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business.
    • Open new accounts and ensure they continue to develop profitably.
    • Engage with customers face to face and over the phone.
    • Accurately take and input orders onto the system.
    • Providing quotes.
    • Maximise add-on sales.
    • Make proactive sales telephone calls to lapsed accounts and potential new customers.
    • Collaborate closely with warehouse team to ensure correct products are delivered on time.
    • Regularly engaging with external sales and credit control teams.
    • Work on trade counter as required.
    • Any other reasonable duties within the individual capabilities.
    • Responsible for results in sales and margin
    • Customer retention and feedback
    • Accuracy of order inputting

    Skills:

    • GCSE Mathematics and English (preferable).
    • Good data accuracy.
    • Good level of numeracy and IT skills.
    • Experience within industry and understanding of Waterproofing and Brickwork specification.
    • Previous internal sales experience.
    • Competitor knowledge (preferable).
    • Selling and organisational abilities.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Establishes and maintains strong relationships.
    • Maintain a stable performance under pressure.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Good timekeeping and attendance record.
    • Flexible, adaptable, and receptive to new ideas.

    Remuneration:

    • Up to £40,000
    • 25% bonus
