Are you a Business Development Manager looking for your next role?

Do you have a proven record in Business Development and sales, preferably in the insulation sector or a related building material?

We’re currently recruiting for a manufacturer of insulation and they’re looking for a Business Development Manager to cover the Midlands

As the Business Development Manager, you will be dealing with main contractors, related trades, house builders, Government Retrofit Schemes and ECO. You’d be responsible for driving new business growth through selling the full range of products specifically targeting the current 350 contractors they deal with across the UK.

Principal Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential customers within the designated sales region.
• Prepare and deliver sales training & proposals, negotiate prices, secure orders, and gain repeat business from new customers.
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.

Key Skills

• A proven record in business development and sales, preferably in the insulation sector, or a related building material.
• Ability to understand technical product information and effectively communicate it to customers.
• Initiative-taking and driven to succeed, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to achieve sales targets.
