    Are you a Business Development Manager based in the South East with experience in selling to Merchants and Distributors? We have a great opportunity for you!

    About Our Client:
    Our client is a leading European brand specializing in sustainable plaster, render, and external wall insulation for the construction industry. With a presence in over 30 countries and a turnover of €2.6 billion, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to cover the South East, Home Counties, and East Anglia.


    Role Overview

    This is a field-based role, where you’ll need to be self-driven and motivated. You will play a key role in the company’s future success by building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with key customers and delivering on performance targets.


    Responsibilities

    • Sell products to specifiers, architects, applicators, merchants, contractors, and distributors.
    • Set and agree targets with your clients and adjust plans based on regional market changes.
    • Train customers on the benefits and technical advantages of the products.
    • Identify and manage potential contract leads from developers.
    • Develop and execute journey plans to visit customers, optimizing each account.
    • Maintain records of all contracts and specifications in the CRM system.

    Experience & Skills

    • Experience in external sales, ideally in a similar field.
    • Strong commercial skills and the ability to present product offers.
    • Proven track record of managing a product portfolio and customer relationships.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills.
    • Proficient in CRM systems and Excel.

    Attitudes & Behaviours

    • Assertive and results-driven, with the ability to overcome objections.
    • Energetic, positive, and willing to compromise as part of a team.
    • Able to work at a fast pace and meet deadlines.

    Remuneration

    • Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience).
    • Around 40% bonus.
