We’re working with a leading construction supplier that distributes roofing materials worldwide. They’re now looking for a Category Manager to join their team in York or Doncaster.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a group of product categories, ensuring they hit financial targets and meet customer needs across the company’s branch network.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of sales and profit margins for your product categories
Build and maintain a clear plan to improve margins
Prepare budgets and forecasts
Recommend changes to suppliers, product ranges, and regional availability
Be the main contact for suppliers
Ensure compliance with supplier agreements
Keep customer offers and pricing consistent across branches

Rebate forecasts are accurate
You’re always finding ways to boost category performance
