Are you an experienced External Sales Rep looking for your next career move? Do you have a strong background in selling to national merchants?
We’re working with a leading commercial building products supplier – a true one-stop shop for the trade. This role focuses specifically on bagging, paving, and blocks, covering the West Midlands region.
This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of a territory and drive sales, profitability, and long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the area’s sales performance and budget in line with company targets
Build strong relationships with customers, internal managers, and sales teams
Work closely with your line manager to define and deliver a winning sales strategy
Develop and maintain key relationships with suppliers and hauliers
Support and help train internal coordinators on products and selling techniques
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the product range
Lead training sessions for customers and internal teams
What We’re Looking For
Full UK Driving Licence
Comfortable with regional travel and occasional overnight stays
Experience in external/field sales (essential)
Strong knowledge of building materials
Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
