    We have an excellent opportunity to join a Heavyside merchant position is part of the commercial projects team. The business has enjoyed a stable leadership team since its creation and is now looking to recruit a Head of Brick Sales to manage relationships and oversee stock management.

    What are they looking for

    We’re ideally looking for someone who can demonstrate their ability to trade in the brick market, understanding brick matching and brick registration process, having knowledge of importing would be a huge advantage.

    Overall purpose of the job

     The Head of Brick Sales will oversee the end-to-end logistics, stock management, supplier coordination, and overall operational efficiency of the brick factoring company. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth business operations across all regional hubs while maintaining optimal stock levels and supplier relationships.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Manage relationships with non-EU suppliers and UK manufacturers.
    • Oversee stock management in our various stock locations. Plan is to have regional hubs.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

    Key Skills

    • Proven experience in logistics, procurement or operations management within the brick industry.
    • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
    • Familiarity with import regulations and supply chain management.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

    Remuneration Package

    • Competitive base salary, negotiable for the right person around 60K – if you’re looking for higher, this may not be ruled out.
    • Up to £30K bonus

    • Car Allowance
