We’re currently recruiting for an independent builders’ merchants who are looking for a Heavyside Manager to be responsible for the daily operations of the Heavyside Yard and its employees.
Key Responsibilities
This role would suit someone with sales experience behind them to help drive sales within this department. They would be managing a team of around 7 people.
Be responsible for the daily smooth and safe operations of the Heavyside Yard and its employees.
Work closely with all other departments of the company, particularly the sales team.
Maintaining contact with our customers.
Following up quotations
Ensuring stock and costings are correct by liaising with our product administrators.
Knowledge & Experience
Must have at least two years’ experience, ideally at management level, working in a Builders Merchants or in construction, specifically Building.
Have strong communication skills.
Be able to prioritise tasks.
Be able to organise your own time and workload, and that of the team.
You will need to be an excellent negotiator and be confident working with suppliers.
Be able to manage inbound/outbound sales calls, maximising sales potential at all times.
Be motivated and be able to motivate others.
Have excellent customer service skills.
