We’re currently recruiting for an established company that specialises in innovative insulations systems based in Birmingham. They are mainly involved in the Government Funded Schemes that involve measures such as Solid Wall/ Under Floor and Roof insulation.  They are looking for 4 Internal Technical Advisors to join their team.

The main objective of the Technical Advisor is to provide technical support to both internal and external customers within the field of all products. The Technical Advisor will assist customers by providing technical knowledge of our broad range of products over the phone and via email.

Key Objectives:

• To provide technical advice to our customers both internal & external, with regards to all Products.
• To provide detailed specification and details to customer time frame and needs.
• To develop customer relationships.
• To consistently answer all technical enquiries based on information available.
• To manage all risk in relation to delivery of information to customers.

Key Skills:

The successful candidate will have ideally a base level knowledge in either architecture, building trades or need to have knowledge and understanding of internal and external wall insulation materials, including plastering materials or related products.

• Demonstrate proven experience working within a technical advisory support environment.
• Understand UK building regulations.
• Have good knowledge of building types.
• Have some knowledge of wall insulation systems.
• Have good communication skills and be numerate.
• Be a good team player.
• Be able to work on your own initiative and have good organisational skills.
• Be able to work towards resolving customer problems and maintain high standards of customer care.
• Hold a full UK driving licence as site visits will be required.
• Live within a commutable distance.
