    Are you based in the Midlands?

    We are currently recruiting for a manufacturer of bricks, blocks and paving. They’re looking for a Key Account Manager to cover West & East Midlands. This role is split in two parts the first part you’ll be dealing with the key accounts of regional distributors and regional housebuilders and the second part is dealing with with new business such as specifiers, architects and contractors.

    About the role

    To optimise sales, profit and cash by promoting the Company’s products and services within the designated sector. Your primary function will be to increase our sales, share and exposure of brick, block and walling products within all sectors.

    Key Accountabilities

    • To achieve budget volume/price and identified sales targets.
    • To establish strong relationships with the prominent or targeted architects and specifiers in your area.
    • To achieve budget volume/price for both brick and block for the portfolio and prospect accounts.
    • To maintain contact and promote the Company’s products and services to existing Main Contractors and Subcontractors.
    • To establish contact and promote the Company’s products and services to new and potential architects, specifiers and contracting customers.
    • To ensure best in industry CPD material is available and to present.

    Job Dimensions

    • To achieve Sales Volumes and maximise margin potential for Region.
    • Manage and maintain the pipeline.
    • To increase the contact base of architects and specifiers and the account base of influence Contracting Customers.

    Role Requirements
