    Our client is an established international company with over 40 years’ experience offering the building industry vast product choice combined with in-depth technical expertise.

    They are looking for an Operations Assistant Branch Manager to be based at their head office in Birmingham.

    Objectives:

    • Work in partnership with the Branch Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of Profitability, Cost Control, Operation and ensure the Branch runs smoothly.
    • This will be a hands-on roll in a fast paced and ever-changing environment but in return offers career progression and unrivalled experience for the right candidate.
    • Operating under a Safety-First culture.
    • As Assistant Branch Manager, you will be expected to take full responsibility for the Branch in the absence of the Branch Manager, monitoring Internal & External Sales Team, Warehouse, Transport and liaising with Senior Stakeholders within our business.

    Skills:

    • Knowledge of the construction industry and product the client distributes. Insulation & Dry Lining history desirable.
    • Previous dealings in a Branch Role with knowledge of the above-mentioned departments.
    • A calm and decisive manner that can be decisive and lead under pressure.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating leadership and strategy.
    • Methodical, problem-solving minds set to deal with wide range of day-to-day events.
    • High motivated being able to lead by example and set example of what is required.
    • Can do attitude.
