Procurement & Planning Coordinator – Insulation – Birmingham – SD12048

We’re currently recruiting for a leading supplier of fabricated products from soffit liners to fire protection boards. They’re looking an experienced Procurement & Planning Coordinator to join their rapidly growing production team in their facilities in Birmingham.

The Procurement and Planning Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efficient planning, purchasing, and coordination of materials, goods, and services required by the organisation.

Principal Responsibilities

• Schedule the supply of materials and components to meet production requirements and maintain agreed safety stock levels.
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery from suppliers through to customer collection.
• Create and maintain regular reports, statistics, and analyses to inform stakeholders and support decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience of materials planning in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Business or related degree is preferred but not required.
• Good understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies

Performance Indicators

• Stock Accuracy and availability levels
• Cost savings achieved through negotiation, bulk discounts, alternative sourcing.
• Reduction in waster or obsolete stock

Package

• Negotiable base salary
• Pension
• Hours Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00
