    Our client is one of Oxfordshire’s leading independent plumbing, heating, and bathroom merchants, supplying both trade and the public. Their team have been providing first-class service to the local market for many years.

    Responsibilities:

    • Grow Sales and trading numbers.
    • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Branch
    • Have the capability to manage and deliver to a wide range of customer demands, whilst driving sales and maximising the Branch’s profitability
    • Setting objectives for the Branch and monitor performance
    • Lead, motivate and develop the Branch team ·
    • Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained in Branch by providing exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers.
    • Ensure the team complete actions and activities on time, and in full.
    • Ensure Branch compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures.
    • Undertake stocktakes and audits.
    • Ensure maintenance records for Branch vehicles meet compliance.
    • Conduct Branch housekeeping for front of house, warehousing, and merchandising

    Skills:

    • Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service with a hands-on customer focused approach.
    • Proactively engage with existing and potential future customers.
    • Be financially and commercially aware to demonstrate a professional ability to interpret and analyse financial and statistical information to drive sales and maximise margins.
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and use own initiative.
    • Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office.
    • A full and valid driving license is essential.
    • Experience within a similar role with excellent knowledge of domestic and commercial plumbing & heating products.
