Role: Regional Sales Manager

Territory Covered: Central England (North East, West Midlands, East Midlands, North West -not including Cumbria, East Anglia)

Products: Above and below ground plastic drainage systems

Route to Market: Independent Merchants & Buying Groups

Overall purpose of the job

To promote the products and company via independent merchants and buying groups. To sell and promote the company’s full range of products and services.

Principal Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 6 Area Sales Managers
• Developing relationships with the independent merchants and buying groups.
• Develop relationships with end users and contractors winning projects and back selling into your merchant network

The person

• Having experience in the above and below ground plastic drainage sector would be advantageous but wider knowledge of the building materials sector is essential
• Have an understanding of buying groups and independent merchants
• A proven track record of people development

• Negotiable base salary
