    Do you have experience in selling Insulation & associated products (Insulation, Plasterboard, Roofing Membranes, Fire Stopping & Fire Protection)?

    We have the role for you!

    Our client is a family-owned distributor of building materials, specialising in insulation and drywall products. They are currently looking for a Sales Office Manager to work in their Birmingham Branch.

    Key Objectives:

    • Managing a fast-paced sales office ensuring all sales process and sales operations are effectively delivered to provide an exceptional customer experience.
    • Taking ownership and leadership for the commercial proposition including guidance on margin achievement to provide customer value for money and appropriate returns for the business.
    • Coaching, developing and supporting the sales team to enhance their performance and knowledge base.
    • Hands on setting the example in selling insulation; drylining and associated products to merchant and contractor channels.
    • Maximising the branch ledger of customers alongside new business development in target markets.
    • Be prepared to go the extra mile to support the ambitions of the branch and supporting the branch manager in achieving overall branch effectiveness.

    Key Skills:

    • Hunger and determination to increases revenue streams from existing customers and source new customer business through proactive team management and personal contribution.
    • Commercially astute with demonstrable record of managing margins.
    • Effective relationship builder – externally (customers and suppliers) and internally
    • Strong people management skills and able to develop colleagues to full potential.
    • Effective sales knowledge of either insulation or drylining systems
    • Experience of holding a personal minimum annual sales budget of £1m p.a
    • Exemplary work ethic and team player
    • Strive for excellence in all sales and customer related matters.
    • Strong sales administration disciplines – quote management, CRM system, diary management and able to instil this in colleagues.
