We’re currently recruiting for a client who have been involved in the design and manufacturing of sound reducing product for over 30 years making us one of the oldest and most established acoustic specialises in the UK. They’re looking for an Internal Sales Representative to be based at their head office in Sheffield.
Overall function of the job
To provide excellent customer service when responding to pricing, stock and all other enquiries daily. Having a good understanding of the products to make recommendations and recognise opportunities to optimise sales. The role is essential in supporting not only the internal sales function but also the wider Sales Team.
Remuneration package
- Base Salary is negotiable depending on experience up to £30,000
- Pension
- 23 days holidays – saving 4 for the Christmas period (pro rata to suit start date). Runs Jan – Dec per annum.
Principal Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls
- Assist with the completion of administration duties
- Follow up on customer enquiries & quotations
- Handling all customer queries in an effective and efficient manner
- Developing strong commercial relationships with both new and existing customers to increase sales opportunities and profitability.
- To develop and maintain, through continuous improvement, a high level of professional customer service.
- Contribute to the effective use and improvement of all systems and processes to ensure that these are fit for purpose to provide superior levels of customer service.
Knowledge & Experience
- Excellent telephone manner is essential.
- The ability to communicate effectively across all forms of media including email, telephone and fax.
