Specification Sales Manager | Heavyside | Midlands & North

We’re looking for a Specification Sales Manager to join our client’s team. Our client is a manufacturer of Building Products and a supplier of hard landscaping and aggregates.

If you’d be able to drive the implementation of specific sales & marketing campaigns within the territory & customer base.

Principal Responsibilities

• Generate sales through proactive lead validation and project chasing prior to the hand over to the relevant Civils Sales Manager.
• Identification and targeting of Key Projects which will remain under your ownership, following through from design to delivery on site.
• Develop robust relationships within our key targeted customer groups of Landscape Architects, Local Authorities, Engineers and Specifiers.

Main responsibilities

• Proactively contact prospective customers and clients to research projects and update project intelligence through effective call planning in line with business targets and plans
• Develop and distribute area project specification lists and ensure regular communication regarding these opportunities with the external sales teams & customer service department to ensure they are followed up to maximum effect for the business

• Knowledge of the construction sector and supply chain

• Knowledge of related construction sector (essential)

Package

• Excellent base salary which is negotiable depending on experience
• 10% bonus
