We’re currently recruiting for a leading manufacturer in the UK of interior systems with all their own products being renowned for the innovative design, quality, reliability, and performance, not only in the UK but across the world. They are looking for a Technical Coordinator to work in their offices in Coseley.
This is a junior position so it would be perfect for those looking to start their CAD career!
Package:
- Base Salary is negotiable around £25,000 but would go higher for the right person.
- Pension – auto enrolled after 3 months.
- 25 days holiday + stats
- Hours: 07:00 – 16:00 Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – 12:00 Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers and make modifications to existing drawings.
- Create detailed production instructions based on customer requirements.
- Setup bill of materials/product structures for each project on company MRP system (training will be given)
- Create 2D/3D drawings, products/components/floor plans and elevations where required.
- Support the Technical and Production Engineering Team to develop and prototype new products.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of engineering principles and ability to create and read technical drawings.
- IT skills and experience using computer-aided design software – Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Fusion 360 is preferred.
- Ability to transfer, display and manipulate your work using Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail to create accurate and detailed drawings and check other colleagues’ work for accuracy and quality.
- Communication skills and relationship building to work with suppliers, customers, engineers, and architects to understand and interpret their requirements.
- Teamwork – essential to be able to work in a team.
