    We’re currently recruiting for a manufacturer of passive fire protection and insulation solutions. They’re We’re working with a leading manufacturer in the construction industry who is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join their team, covering Scotland, the North East, and Cumbria.

    This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in building materials who also enjoys developing business, training customers, and promoting high-quality products across the supply chain.


    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Grow sales across your region by working with housebuilders, contractors, merchants, and distributors
    • Provide technical training and support to ensure correct installation and product use
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
    • Analyse your market and report on trends and opportunities
    • Promote brand awareness and secure product specifications
    • Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations

    What You’ll Need

    • 3–5 years in technical or consultative sales (ideally in building materials or construction)
    • Strong knowledge of building regulations, materials, drawings, and processes
    • Experience delivering presentations and managing multiple client projects
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Comfortable using CRM tools and familiar with CCPI
    • A relevant qualification (minimum IFE Level 2)

    Must be happy to travel across your patch, with some overnight stays and attendance at events and awards.
