    🌍 Technical Sales Manager

“Would you like to help make the UK’s water and energy infrastructure more sustainable for future generations?”

    About the Company

Our client is the world’s leading manufacturer of glass fiber, operating 8 owned factories and 14 licensed facilities worldwide. Their mission is clear:
To solve the world’s water and wastewater challenges – sustainably.

From clean drinking water infrastructure to handling the effects of extreme weather, they are helping transform global water networks, including right here in the UK and Ireland. As part of its ambitious growth plans, the group is investing heavily in expanding factory capacity and entering new markets across water, energy, and industrial sectors.

Now, they’re looking for a Technical Sales Manager to support this mission and help shape a better, greener future.

    The Role

As Technical Sales Manager , your focus will be on securing new projects with consultant engineers, framework contractors, and multi-utility stakeholders. You’ll work on long-term, large-scale infrastructure projects, sometimes spanning months or even years.

    They’re open to location.

This is a client-facing role where you’ll be liaising with a broad range of people – from site personnel to CEOs of major organisations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing new business in your region
    • Promote and support the use of GRP products across water, energy, and industrial sectors
    • Provide technical guidance and product expertise to consultants and contractors
    • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry to project delivery
    • Achieve sales and margin targets
    • Represent Amiblu at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
    • Use CRM tools and strategic territory planning to manage projects and pipelines

    About You

    • Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within water, civil engineering, utilities, or construction
    • Comfortable working on complex, long-term project sales (ideally with consultants and multi-utility firms)
    • Degree in Engineering or similar is preferred but not essential
    • Confident, self-motivated, and highly organised
    • Skilled in CRM systems and managing multiple ongoing projects
    • Willing to travel regularly (including occasional trips to European HQ and production sites)
    • Full UK driving licence and valid passport required

    What’s on Offer

    • Competitive base salary
    • Bonus scheme based on sales targets
    • Car allowance
    • Contributory pension scheme
    • 22 days holiday + UK bank holidays
    • Full product and systems training, with opportunities for ongoing personal development
    • A chance to work in a supportive, international team and help drive real change in the UK’s infrastructure
