Our client is a fourth-generation family business, founded in 1931 they have become the leading independent builders’ merchants with multiple outlets in South West Wales. They’re looking for someone to manage the design team on a day-to-day basis, allocating work team whilst ensuring professional standards are maintained for all designs and work is checked.
Package:
- Base Salary is negotiable for the right person up to £45K
- Company pension
- Profit share scheme membership: 6 memberships
- 25 days annual leave – this will increase after 5 years and 10 years service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a high-quality design & estimating service for both Roof Trusses & Engineered Floor Joists to our customers.
- Managing the design team on day-to-day basis, allocating work between the team.
- Ensure professional standards are maintained for all designs and work is checked.
- You will be required to review architectural plans and liaise with customers and contractors to produce accurate detailed designs and quotations using the market leading Mitek software suite.
- Managing process improvements and working collaboratively with the Timber merchant team.
