We have the role for you!

We are currently recruiting for a client who are a specialist Builders Merchants with over 40 years’ experience within the construction industry. They currently have 7 trade stores in Andover, Southampton, Salisbury, Portsmouth, Biggleswade, Taunton and Bournemouth.

They are looking for a Trade Store Manager to be based at the Salisbury office.

This role is primarily responsible to serve customers in store, and ensure the store is kept clean, tidy, and well stocked to give the customers an excellent experience.   

Key responsibilities:

• Serving customers at the Trade Counter
• Ensuring a well-stocked and tidy Trade Counter
• Housekeeping of the Trade Store/ Warehouse
• Always adhering to the Health and Safety policies and procedures, to comply with H&S commitments of the company. 
• Ensuring stock takes are up to date and complete, including relevant paperwork. 
• In addition, all employees are expected to work within the terms of their contract of employment and adhere to the policies, values and required ways of working.

Key Skills:

• Construction Industry Experience would be an advantage.
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Good interpersonal teamwork, collaboration skills and Safe Handling Awareness.
• IT Literate
• Previous face to face customer service experience/ strong communication skills.
