Are you an Internal Sales Person looking for your next role?
Our client is seeing an experienced and driven Timber Sales Specialist AND Timber Development Manager within their Timber importing & joinery divisions at their busy builders’ merchants. This role demands significant experience in timber sales to the construction industry, you’ll need to be able to show demonstrable success in increasing sales and have a proactive approach to health and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Sales
- Working alongside the Sales Manager, maintain and build new relationships with key customers, suppliers and stakeholders to maximise sales and profitability.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets for growth in the timber, importing, joinery and increasingly the renewables sector.
- Customer Service
- Ensure a high level of service is delivered consistently.
- Product Management
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the latest products and technologies in timber, importing, joinery and renewables.
- Oversee the maintenance of product displays, ensuring they are well-stocked and visually appealing.
Knowledge & Experience
- Significant experience in timber sales to the construction industry
- Demonstrable success in increasing sales
