    Are you an Account Manager? Do you have sales experience within a construction related sector? Are you eager to develop their knowledge? If so, this vacancy could be for you!

    Our client has been supplying specialist services to the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing industries for over twenty years and during that time has built up an enviable reputation for quality, service and reliability. They are looking for an Account Manager to join their team covering West London.

    As an Account Manager you will be required to retain, develop, and grow the account base by increasing the customer awareness of the benefits of using our client.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • The role requires a tenacious Account Manager with the ability to not only meet but exceed their revenue targets through the development of existing key account prospects and national customers.
    • This role is a mix of account management and construction project development. You will be required to develop new business by adding value through best practice, product innovation and specialism. Presentations and demonstrations will be required with target customers.

    Key Skills

    • Candidates for this role must have proven sales experience, ideally within a construction related sector although this is not essential.
    • You should have the ability to build long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with prospective customers and have a confident and persuasive nature when presenting and demonstrating.
    • We are looking for a candidate who is eager to develop their knowledge of the organisation, its people and its services and who also seeks to improve their own skills throughout their career
    • Ability to target new prospect accounts and develop sub-contractor spend at major project level within a defined geographical territory.
