Title: Design Manager

Principal Responsibilities
- Rationalise the design process, creating efficiencies and improving design
- Ensure design is regulatory compliant
- Mitigate risk to the business through communications with the team and other departments on risks and solutions.
Job Scope
- Develop façade designs from concept through to detailed design and construction.
- Produce detailed façade drawings using AutoCAD, including plans, elevations, sections and details
- Assist project teams with technical design development
Key Competencies
- Be an expert in CAD and have proficient knowledge of other design software, including BIM
- Have strong organisational skills and knowledge of construction programmes, exposure to risk and the importance of deadlines
- Be a strategic thinker, understanding the impact the design team’s deliverables have on the rest of the business
