Package: Competitive salary up to or around £70k, rest of package is negotiable and up for discussion.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and generate leads. With a primary focus on digital marketing, social media, and events marketing, they manage agency relationships to execute campaigns, analyse performance metrics, and continuously optimise tactics to achieve business objectives.
Principal Responsibilities
Campaign planning, execution, and performance monitoring
- Develop and deliver integrated product and brand marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and qualified lead generation in line with commercial objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance through reports, assessing lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
CRM ownership and optimisation
- Take an active role in managing and optimising the CRM as the central marketing and lead management platform
- Ensure accurate lead capture, segmentation, campaign attribution, and data integrity.
Digital marketing and lead generation
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility, drive traffic, and generate qualified leads.
- Manage and optimise digital channels including website, SEO/SEM, Email marketing, and paid advertising.
Content and brand visibility
- Monitor engagement metrics (follower growth, reach, impressions, clicks, shares, and engagement rate) and use performance insights to continuously optimise content and targeting.
- Oversee social media strategy and content creation across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels to support brand visibility, audience growth, and meaningful engagement.
Sales alignment and pipeline development
- Work closely with the Sales team to align marketing activity with target accounts, priority sectors, and commercial goals.
- Support pipeline growth by ensuring marketing-generated leads are relevant, qualified, and effectively nurtured through the funnel.
Events and industry engagement
- Plan, coordinate, and execute exhibitions, events, and industry activities to generate leads and strengthen market presence.
- Ensure all event activity is tracked within Salesforce and evaluated against defined objectives.
Market insight and continuous improvement
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
- Stay up to date with marketing technologies, CRM best practices, and industry trends.
Internal communications and operational support
- Support internal communications to ensure alignment across teams.
- Ensure marketing documentation, campaign records, and CRM data are accurately maintained.
Key Competencies
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on digital marketing, social media, events, email marketing, content creation, workflows, and CRM management, preferably in manufacturing or construction industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of email marketing platforms, automation workflows, and CRM systems.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic skills of design tools (Canva, Photoshop)
