Principal Responsibilities:
- People management of the category and procurement team.
- Ensure stakeholders and members are utilising the deals once secured
- Propose to the board category changes including suppliers, ranges, and geographical variances
- To be the first point of contact and principal communicator with the supplier base
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and potential suppliers to the categories and negotiate agreements including ranging, cost prices, marketing support, payment periods and rebates
- Measure performance against set targets through supplier engagement plans.
