Head of Projects | Insulation | National

We’re working with a leading manufacturer in the construction industry, and they’re looking for a Head of Projects to join their team.

The overall purpose of the role is to be responsible for the implementation of the company’s sales and specification strategy to high-rise projects, delivering sales growth in this important target market. Day-to-day management of a team of regional Project Specification Managers.

Principal Responsibilities

• Grow existing portfolio of customers as well as increase business opportunities within current customer base, identifying opportunities to increase specification of the products and networking to develop both existing and new market areas.
• Evaluate overall team sales data and analyse trends to continually develop sector business plan as necessary, providing regular reports and recommendations.
• Provide product and installation training to architects, main contractors and specialist subcontractors, promoting the correct installation of products.
• Analyse current and future developments in construction to align product range best to meet needs – recommend product range enhancements.

Key Knowledge

• Clean, full driving license
• Knowledge of building practices/regulations
• Experience of selling to the housebuilding sector
• Able to interpret construction drawings and details
