Solar PV Estimator & Technical Coordinator

We’re looking for a Solar PV Estimator & Technical Coordinator to join our client’s team.

We’re looking for someone who is commercially aware and is a technically capable individual to support our client’s branch network by managing solar enquiries, producing accurate quotations and completing detailed material take-offs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support achievement of the company solar budget targets, ensuring commercial performance and margin objectives are consistently met
• Manage incoming solar enquiries from branch teams and customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses
• Prepare detailed, accurate quotations for solar PV systems
• Produce material take-offs from drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
• Act as the central point of contact between branches, customers, and suppliers

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar estimating, technical sales, or coordination role (solar or electrical preferred)
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate quotations

• Experience working with electrical wholesalers or in a distribution environment (desirable)
• Knowledge of UK solar regulations and compliance standards (desirable)

Package

• Negotiable base salary
• Pension
• £300 pm car allowance
