Are you based in the North West?
Do you have experience in dealing with distributors, main and sub-contractors?
Our client manufactures plasterboard and dryline materials they’re looking for an Area Sales Manager covering the North West.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new market opportunities and feedback market intelligence to the business
- Build collaborative relationships and have the ability to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with other inside or outside the organisation who can provide information, assistance and support.
- Ensure that all sales targets for the full range of products are achieved or exceeded, address underperformance of price margin, volume and revenue versus budget.
Knowledge and Experience
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven track record in a similar sales role, being experience with working remotely in the field
- Knowledge of the UK construction industry and desirability with experience in internal finishes (drylining, insulation, partitions etc)
- Full driving licence
Key Technical/Function Skills:
- Be proficient with Microsoft and associated web presentation tools
- Analytical Skills – can understand performance reporting and how to factor into day to day functioning
- Able to manually handle items up 20kg
