Sharples Davies Limited is pleased to announce several additions to the company as part of its current growth strategy.
Graham Wroe recently joins the company as a Freelance Recruitment Consultant. Mr Wroe’s professional journey began in the construction industry after completing his studies at the University of Leeds. His career trajectory includes notable roles in sales, beginning with his career at Tarmac, followed by a stint in Marketing before transitioning to Redland, later becoming Lafarge plasterboard. At Lafarge plasterboard, Mr Wroe held various sales positions, ultimately reaching the position of Sales Director. Following his tenure at Lafarge Plasterboard, Mr Wroe undertook the role of Sales Director at CRH Springvale. Subsequently, he was sought by the late Jeff Hulme and joined Knauf insulation, where he dedicated 17 years to the company. During his years at Knauf Insulation, Mr Wroe ascended to the position of Sales Director, overseeing the Merchant and Distribution side of the business.
Mr Wroe states “With 40 years of experience in the UK building materials market mainly at senior level I am looking forward to helping the team at Sharples Davies as they move forward and expand their customer and candidate base.”
Brogan Neve joins the company as a Marketing Executive in April 2024, as a graduate from the University of Central Lancashire. With years of experience, her dedication and passion for the field will make Brogan an asset to Sharples Davies Marketing endeavours. In the months of Brogan starting we have already seen a great amount of change to our company and its branding.
Ann Fisher joins the team as a Consultant in November 2024. Ann has a wealth of experience in the industry, working both in the UK and Europe meting suppliers and customers across the Drywall, Insulation & Interiors markets. Ann has enjoyed the challenges and opportunities around being a female leader in a male dominated industry. Some of her greatest achievements have been to develop people and see them grown and evolve into senior roles within the Distribution and Manufacturing markets.
Antonia Hayward joins the team as a Recruitment Consultant in November 2024. Antonia has worked within the recruitment industry for over eight years and she’s supporting diversity in the workplace. She’s happy to get stuck in and she’s not afraid of being told no.
Olivia Nicoll joins the team in November 2024 as a Recruitment Resourcer. Liv has come from a customer service, retail and hospitality background, due to this she has found a true passion in wanting to help people and provide excellent service.
