Our client has been supplying specialist services to the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing industries for over twenty years and during that time has built up an enviable reputation for quality, service and reliability. They are looking for an Account Manager to join their team covering Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside.

As an Account Manager you will be required to retain, develop, and grow the account base by increasing the customer awareness of the benefits of using our client.

Responsibilities:

• You’ll need to meet their targets through the development of existing key accounts, prospects and national customers.
• You’ll be spending time on construction projects demonstrating innovative product solutions that enhance productivity and/or improve safety performance and best practice.

Skills:

• Proven sales experience ideally within a construction related sector.
• You should have the ability to build long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with prospective customers.
• Have a confident and persuasive nature when presenting and demonstrating.
• To have the ability to target new prospect accounts and develop sub-contractor spend at major project level within a defined geographical territory.
• To have an interest in technical products with an ability to understand the principals of engineering.
• A degree of IT literacy is required.
• To have the ability to manage your time effectively.

Remuneration:

• Base salary is negotiable D.O.E for the right person, with an uncapped bonus paid quarterly.
