Do you have experience with national and independent merchants?
Our client manufactures plasterboard and dryline materials they’re looking for an Area Merchant Manager covering Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Business plans and the actions that flow from these plans
- Develop and maintain relationships with the branch network of our key merchant customers, these relationships will span across Branch Managers, Assistant Branch Managers, Sales staff (both internal and External)
- Support the implementation of the core stock profiling product range within all designated accounts
Knowledge and Experience
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven internal / external sales experience
- Strong phone presence and experience with achieving set calls rates per day
- Good influencing and persuasive skills
- Be proficient with Microsoft and associated web presentation tools
Key Technical/Function Skills:
- Well developed IT skills – particularly in Microsoft applications (Excel, Powerpoint)
- Analytical skills – can understand performance reporting and how to factor into day to day functioning
- Business Acumen
