Do you have experience in selling to National and Independent merchants?
Our client is a well-known brand within the building materials sector. This business specialises in drylining and plasterboard and they’re looking for an Area Merchant Manager to cover Scotland.
Principal Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with the brand network of the key merchant customers, these relationships span across Branch Managers, Assistant Branch Managers and Sales Staff.
- Support the implementation of the core stock profiling, product range within all designated accounts.
- Analyse customer sales performance and work with the team to address areas of underperformance.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven internal/external sales experience
- Strong phone presence and experience with achieving set calls rates per day.
Key Technical/Functional Skills:
- Be proficient with Microsoft and associated web presentation tools.
- Analytical skills – can understand performance reporting and how to factor into day-to-day functioning.
