We’re recruiting for an Area Sales Manager for a builders merchant to work internally and externally, dealing with the general public and trade.
Principal Responsibilities
- Manage and support a portfolio of key accounts, helping them grow their businesses with us.
- Develop new trade accounts and proactively win projects from prospective clients.
- Analyse sales figures weekly to identify trends and opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in merchant sales (preferably Heavyside)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to managing your own diary
