    We’re currently recruiting for a manufacturer of bricks, blocks and paving. They’re looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the West Midlands region.

    Your primary focus will be developing sales and promoting the products via the network of builders’ merchants, distributors, regional and small housebuilders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To achieve budget volume/price for the products for the portfolio and prospect accounts
    • To establish and maintain good customer relationships, particularly by prompt and efficient response to queries and complaints.
    • To keep abreast of developments in commercial, technical and policy matters and be able to react accordingly
    • To monitor the efficiency of present procedures and systems and where necessary suggest new improvements

    Key Skills

    • Excellent communication skills and customer relationship skills
    • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
    • Understanding of Building Industry practices
    • Good knowledge of sales area to be undertaken
