Business Development Manager | Heavyside | South West & South Wales

We’re currently recruiting for a manufacturer within the heavyside sector. They’re looking for a Business Development Manager to cover the South West & South Wales.

Dealing with Consultants, engineers and Sub & Main Contractors you’ll be developing external product and application awareness, whilst assisting with customers to understand the product specification to support the production of conceptual and detailed design work.

Principal Responsibilities

• Identify new prospect opportunities and promote the products
• Develop external product and application awareness to contractors, local authorities, architects and engineering practices.
• Collaborate and support all external partners and specifiers etc., to generate regular new specifications for the product range.

Knowledge & Experience

• Extensive experience in providing CPD’s to architects and engineers
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience of working in the construction materials sector with local authorities, consulting engineers and architects on commercial developments/infrastructure projects.
• Experience in customer facing roles within the construction industry where you have participated in and/or led project contract discussions to secure new business.

Package

• Negotiable base salary depending on experience for the right person
• 10% bonus
• £5k car allowance
• Pension
