We’re currently recruiting for an independent builders’ merchants who are looking for a Heavyside Manager to be responsible for the daily operations of the Heavyside Yard and its employees.

Key Responsibilities

• This role would suit someone with sales experience behind them to help drive sales within this department. They would be managing a team of around 7 people plus 3 drivers.
• Be responsible for the daily smooth and safe operations of the Heavyside Yard and its employees.
• Ensuring stock and costings are correct by liaising with our product administrators.

Knowledge & Experience

• Must have at least two years’ experience, ideally at management level, working in a Builders Merchants or in construction, specifically Building.
• Must have proven experience of Direct to Site sales
• Be able to organise your own time and workload, and that of the team.
• You will need to be an excellent negotiator and be confident working with suppliers.
• Be able to manage inbound/outbound sales calls, maximising sales potential at all times.
• Be motivated and be able to motivate others.
• Have excellent customer service skills.

  • Mon – Fri 07:30 – 17:00
  • Alternate Saturdays 09:00 – 12:00
