Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday 7 am – 5 pm + Saturday Morning ( every other Saturday)

The whole package is negotiable as are the working hours. This role can be full time or there can be a degree of flexibility for the right person.

We’re currently recruiting for a family-owned independent builders’ merchant specialising in heavy building supplies. They’re looking for an Internal Salesperson to drive sales within the heavy side product sector from the Peterborough branch, working alongside the team within the branch.

Principal Responsibilities

• Work effectively as part of a team promoting the company’s vision, values and aspirations at all times.
• Build effective relationships with customers, thus optimising sales and customer service.
• Use initiative to identify and resolve customer/product problems or issues.
• Through initiative and ideas, proactively identify new sales opportunities to assist in the maximisation of sales and margin.

Knowledge & Experience

• Must have previous sales experience
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a customer facing role
• Previous experience working for a builders’ merchant
